We know it can feel daunting to attend a convention for the first time. We’ve put together some tips and recommendations so you have the best experience!

Planning Your Time at Trop Fest

  • Register for the convention. Registration is now open for 2026.
  • Know what you want from Trop Fest. Set some targets for yourself and know why you’re going. Perhaps you want to see new products and technologies, gain insights into operational excellence and future growth strategies, or network with peers, corporate leaders and vendors?
  • Put together your elevator pitch once you know why you’re going. This should cover:
    • Who: Introduce yourself (e.g., your name, your role and your experience).
    • Where: Provide your cafe’s location or your area of expertise.
    • What: Describe what you are looking to gain or discuss with vendors/leaders. For example, are you seeking a solution, sharing a best practice or looking to grow your
      contacts?
  • Book your travel and accommodations for the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX. The convention is scheduled for February 16-18, 2026.
